Now a day’s everyone wants a facility which reduces their efforts, time and provides a way to do their work more effectively. For cooking food most people use LPG gas. Booking for LPG which is a time-consuming method in fast running life, people are not able to do these task and they don’t have sufficient time to do all these stuff. As well it hurts the most when all of a sudden the fuel gets depleted in the meanwhile of cooking. Thence, Mr Bodhisattwa Sanghapriya, 3rd-year B.Tech, Idea and Innovation Cell, VSSUT Burla aimed to get rid off this day-to-day inconvenience.
He devised a system, AUTO INTIMATE, which resembles a normal LPG trolley embedded with advanced electronics. A user’s job is to just place LPG cylinder over the trolley which weighs it and plugs in trolley power supply. When gas level goes certain critical level it will inform the consumer and using Artificial Intelligence it automatically dials the Gas Agency customer care number and books the LPG refill. The device comes along with an android app and consumer can get real-time status of their LPG gas level on an android app just by shaking their phone. The android app can be connected to the device via Bluetooth. Moreover, if the system finds any irregularities in LPG usage it will automatically send a warning message to respective gas agency server.
This technocrat, Mr.Bodhisattwa got his first recognition from maker fest community. Maker Fest is India’s biggest innovation festival. The project was shortlisted to showcase at MF-2016. After MF-2016 he got recognition as an innovator. Also, he was awarded Odisha Youth Innovation award by honourable Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for this social invention during the celebration of Entrepreneurs Week-2016. He was the youngest entrepreneur among other contestants to receive that award and a cash prize of INR 50,000/-.
This project helps people to save their time by providing automatic gas booking. It can provide the security to people by sensing the leakage of gas and this process of alarming the customer on their cell phone about the usage in a regular interval is like garnishing cherry on the cake. It is very useful for domestic purpose as well as for the industrial purpose. Ease of use of this system makes the project user-friendly. Moreover, misutilization can be monitored through a central system and system blocks the consumer temporarily when a limit is reached in a specified booking.Implementation of this technology can make the whole system of demand and supply chain transparent which enables opportunities for the government, gas agency and consumers to utilise non-renewable energy efficiently.
